Finnish Journal for Romanian Studies focuses on different aspects of Romanian culture (literature, philosophy, history, art, language, etc.) mainly as reflected outside Romania, as researchers from around the world are welcome to publish. Dialogue between researchers in the field is encouraged. FJRS is one of the very few academic journals on Romania related matters published in the world. Apart from encouraging researchers in the field of Romanian studies to publish articles in FJRS, the editors encourage researchers to submit reviews upon different books, journals, projects in the field of Romanian Studies.
